OSHA has cited Conway Stores Inc. for alleged willful, repeat and serious violations of workplace safety standards at its store in the Bronx. The discount retailer faces a total of $90,000 in proposed fines.

A Wisconsin company has been placed in OSHA's Severe Violator Enforcement Program (SVEP), after the death of a teenaged worker in a trench collapse revealed numerous safety hazards.

OSHA has cited Plastico Products LLC in New Jersey with 28 safety and health violations, including two willful. OSHA's inspection was prompted by an incident in which a worker's fingertips were amputated at its Irvington facility.

OSHA has cited Western Extrusions Corp. with two willful and 13 serious violations for exposing workers to a variety of safety and health hazards at its aluminum products manufacturing facility in Carrollton.

OSHA has cited Ohio truck manufacturer Stahl/Scott Fetzer Co. for six safety violations – including one willful – after a worker had several fingers amputated while operating an unguarded press break March 19 at the Wooster plant.
