Imbalance of values

Thanks for speaking up about the differences Capitol Hill is treating issues regarding wildlife with the lives of humans in the workplace. (ISHN Editorial Comments, September 2009).

I hope others that read it are struck by the imbalance of value our country’s leaders are placing on what matters most in our world today. I would agree and add another comparison; how the sporting world can give millions of dollars a year to a single person, just because they can throw a ball, catch a pass or drive a car when our country’s true Heroes – teachers, firefighters, police and military are struggling to make ends meet for themselves and their families.
