This program takes a multi-disciplinary approach to laboratory design, with a focus on health and safety. Participants will be able to ensure that the completed laboratory will be safe, free of hazards, ergonomically sound, and environmentally friendly. Participants will benefit from this program’s exploration of laboratory-specific design issues participants are likely to face, including: user demands of laboratory construction, renovation, reconstruction, and decommissioning.
This interactive course features guided tours of newly constructed or renovated laboratories, workshop sessions, and case studies designed to provide participants with real-world insight from expertly built laboratories.
