Rockford Systems announces 2017 schedule for machine safeguarding seminars

January 18, 2017

Rockford Systems, a premier provider of machine safeguarding products and services, announced today the 2017 scheduling of its Machine Safeguarding Seminars, regarded as the gold standard for education in current OSHA and ANSI standards.

"Year after year, lack of proper machine safeguarding equipment makes the top ten of OSHA's most cited safety violations, underscoring the critical need for our seminars," said Matt Brenner, Vice President of Sales for Rockford Systems, LLC. "Our seminar programs have taught hundreds of Fortune 500 managers how to prevent potentially deadly accidents and meet the required safety standards for the protection of employees, property and productivity."

The three-day seminars foster greater understanding of current safety standards, while familiarizing participants with application-specific equipment through classroom discussion and hands-on demonstrations of machines under power. They also provide a forum for industry safety professionals to exchange views on safeguarding techniques, such as the incorporation of ergonomics into production and operations.

The 2017 schedule for Rockford Systems Machine Safeguarding Seminars is as follows:

•          First quarter: January 17, 18, and 19; February 21, 22, and 23; March 21, 22, and 23.

•          Second quarter: April 18, 19, and 20; May 16, 17, and 18; June 20, 21, and 22.

•          Third quarter: July 18, 19, and 20; August 22, 23, and 24; September 19, 20, and 21.

•          Fourth quarter: October 17, 18, and 19; and November 14, 15, and 16

Roger Harrison, an industrial safeguarding expert with over 25,000 hours of training experience, leads the seminar. In addition to training, Mr. Harrison is an author and regular speaker for the Precision MetalForming Association (PMA) and FABTECH. Seminars are held at Rockford Systems headquarters in Rockford, Illinois. Cost is $895 per attendee.
