The recent staging of OS+H Asia, 8th Occupational Safety & Health Exhibition for Asia, in Singapore concluded with a strong increase in exhibitor and visitor participation: 163 exhibiting companies from 22 countries showcased their products to 5,918 trade visitors - with 20% coming from overseas, primarily from Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. With the more than 15% growth in the number of visitors and the distinct increase of exhibitors, this was the highest ever turnout since the trade fair’s premiere in 1998 and confirmed OS+ H Asia’s status as the region’s leading event for the occupational safety and health sector. The impressive result also reinforces the growing demand for new and enhanced workplace safety and health products as Singapore becomes an industry leader in implementing and advocating workplace safety and health practices.
“OS+H Asia 2012 is a vibrant event and the only one of its kind in the region, and the number of loyal and pleased visitors and companies who have committed to exhibit with us in two years’ time is a true testimony of that,” stated Gernot Ringling, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf Asia. “We will continue to work with the industry to raise the bar for OS+H Asia and further enhance its position as a must attend event in Asia. We remain committed to providing the industry with the best location to network and find the best in products, training and innovative solutions for better workplace safety and health.”
