The Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) and the National Safety Council (NSC) have released the results of an expansive salary survey, analyzing responses from over 9,200 respondents to identify the typical salary and benefits of safety, health, and environmental (SH&E) professionals in an extensive report and online calculator.
In 2012, 58 million Americans sought an attorney.1 The median starting salary for new lawyers in 2012 was $61,000 and many new lawyers carry student-loan debts of $125,000.2
As the global economy continues to waver, U.S. employers are projecting moderate pay raises for employees next year as part of an ongoing effort to closely manage costs. Additionally, similar to last year, U.S. employers do not expect to fully fund their annual bonuses for workers this year, according to new survey data from global professional services company Towers Watson (NYSE, NASDAQ: TW).
