Lion Technology, Inc.

Lion delivers hazardous materials, environmental, and safety training that simplifies complex industry regulations for facilities that store, handle, and ship hazardous chemicals and wastes.

Training courses are available in a variety of formats to fit any professional’s learning style and schedule: nationwide workshops, on-site seminars, online training, and live webinars.

Lion Technology- ShipperHelping EHS managers achieve compliance with DOT hazmat; RCRA hazardous waste; HAZWOPER; OSHA workplace safety; IATA DGR; IMDG Code; and US EPA air, water and chemical regulations.

Hazmat Training—49 CFR, IATA DGR, IMDG Code

There is no such thing as one-size-fits-all hazmat training. The US DOT Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) requires training for all employees who affect hazmat safety and recurrent training once every three years (49 CFR 172.704).

Lion’s hazmat training courses cover a 10-step™ process to identify and properly prepare hazardous materials shipments—from hazardous chemicals to lithium batteries and everything in between. Shippers come away from Lion courses with a deep understanding of their responsibilities for hazmat transport safety under 49 CFR, IATA DGR, and IMDG Code regulations.

RCRA Training—Federal and State

US EPA requires hazardous waste personnel to complete annual training. [40 CFR 262.17]

Lion offers effective hazardous waste management courses that EHS professionals nationwide rely on to develop and maintain the knowledge and tools needed to identify, store, and dispose of regulated wastes.

In addition to Federal RCRA hazardous waste training, Lion offers targeted courses that cover the unique state-level rules in California, New York, Texas, Massachusetts, and Washington.

OSHA Safety and HAZWOPER Training

Lion Technology- Hazardous WasteAll safety managers share a common goal: to send employees home safe at the end of the day—every day. At Lion.com, OSHA online training makes it easy to ensure all employees understand the hazards in their workplace and how to protect themselves and their co-workers.

In addition to a growing catalog of OSHA safety courses that now include PPE, Lockout/Tagout, GHS Hazard Communication, and more, Lion offers HAZWOPER training for employees who encounter hazardous substances at work—either during an emergency response incident or a contaminated site cleanup job.
