Magid Glove & Safety Manufacturing Company LLC, a leading provider of personal protective equipment, has earned recognition as a Partner-level supplier for 2007 in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program. The Partner-level status is Deere & Company’s highest supplier rating. Magid Glove & Safety was elected for the honor in recognition of its dedication to providing products and service of outstanding quality as well as its commitment to continuous improvement.

Magid Glove & Safety employees accepted the recognition on behalf of the company during formal ceremonies held by John Deere on February 19th, 2008 in Davenport, Iowa.

“Magid’s recognition as a John Deere Partner-level supplier is a testament to the commitment and dedication of our employees to build strong partnerships with our customers,” said Rusty Cohen, Executive Vice President of Magid Glove & Safety. “Their efforts to enhance worker safety, manage costs and insure on time delivery are what consistently allows Magid to deliver value to our customers.”

Magid Glove & Safety is a supplier of gloves and personal protective equipment to John Deere’s operations in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Suppliers who participate in the Achieving Excellence Program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and wavelength, which is a measure of responsiveness.
