Industrial Scientific is pleased to announce that it was selected Advanced Manufacturer of the Year in the Pittsburgh Technology Council’s 2011 Tech 50 Awards.

These awards honor the Pittsburgh region’s fastest growing and most innovative technology companies and top executives. The southwestern Pennsylvania tech community and the Council gathered to honor the winners at a celebration event at CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh last evening.

Advanced Manufacturer of the Year category finalists included industries that are largely automated and that use a high degree of process controls, such as computer-numerical controllers, robotics, advanced IT systems and other automated processes.

Industrial Scientific’s president and CEO, Justin McElhattan, graciously accepted the award on behalf of the company.
