Summit Training Source offers new GHS training videoScantek, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointments of three new members to its technical staff: Marek Kovacik, Matt Golden, and Steve Marshall.

 

Marek Kovacik comes to Scantek with a degree in Audio Arts & Acoustics from Columbia College in Chicago. His background ranges from environmental and engineering acoustics to acoustics of performing spaces. As Applications Engineer at Scantek, Marek will oversee the sale and support of various noise prediction software and sound analysis programs.

Matt Golden brings over 10 years of experience in building acoustics consulting and product development.  Most recently, Matt held the position of Acoustical Product Engineering Manager at Kinetics Noise Control.  As Head of Testing & Laboratory Instruments at Scantek, Matt will handle instruments such as the Norsonic Nor 848 Acoustic Camera and Nor 850 Distributed Multichannel System for acoustical Labs.

Steve Marshall arrives at Scantek with 35 years of experience in sound & vibration control for industries ranging from automotive to airspace to HVAC&R. Steve is a Fellow and Board Certified Member of the Institute of Noise Control Engineering. As Manager - Operations at Scantek, Steve will oversee instrumentation sales/marketing as well as leading initiatives in monitoring systems and consulting.
