In 2012, Kee Safety was named to the INC. 5000 list of fastest-growing privately-held U.S. companies for the sixth straight year, and launching a new regional office is considered a boost to the company’s efforts to maintain ranking on the list in 2013 and in future years.

“Regional expansion has fueled our record growth the past several years, and we expect our new office near Los Angeles to help us continue to meet our goals,” said Mike Mumau, President of Kee Safety, Inc.

Juan Lopez was appointed General Manager of the facility and will oversee two other employees. Lopez has served four years as a regional sales manager for Kee Safety. A fourth member of the west regional team is expected to be hired in the spring of 2013.

Founded in 1934, Kee Safety manufactures galvanized steel Kee Klamp® structural, slip-on safety components to build pipe-fitted structures such as safety railings, material handling racks and tables, playground equipment, theater sets, greenhouses, retail displays and other structures. After more than 60 years marketing Kee Klamp, the company introduced Kee Lite® aluminum safety components, a lightweight version of Kee Klamp, which is also corrosion resistant.

Kee Safety then quickly followed up with its OSHA-compliant KeeGuard® fall protection railing systems that install around roof perimeters without penetrating the roof membrane. Since the introduction of KeeGuard, the company has introduced a wide range of fall protection products and systems including: KeeGuard® Contractor portable railings, KeeHatch railings for roof hatches, Kee Walk rooftop walkways, KeeLine horizontal lifelines, KeeGuard Skyline Screens, and other safety products. In 2012, the company introduced Easi-Dec platform systems to provide safe access working at the roof line of low-rise buildings.

The new Kee Safety West Regional Office is located at: Guasti Industrial Park, 4045 E. Guasti Road, Unit #207, Ontario, CA 91761. Phone: 855-893-2455. It joins a network of Kee Safety regional offices in Buffalo, Charlotte, Chicago, Houston, and Concord, Ontario, Canada.
