Alliance News: Region 2 Working with N.J. Labor Dept. (4/21)

OSHA Region 2 announced it has joined with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development On-Site Consultation Program, and the Gateway Regional Chamber of Commerce.

OSHA, the New Jersey department and the Gateway chamber will use their collective expertise to develop training along with informational and educational programs that promote and improve employee safety and health in Union County, N.J., according to a recent OSHA release.

The training will focus on enabling employers to better understand OSHA's requirements and enforcement procedures, as well as foster the implementation of effective safety and health management systems.

A ceremony was held Friday in Avenel, N.J., to sign the alliance agreement.
