China safety expo moved to November 2008 (12/12)

December 12, 2007

The next staging of COS+H 2008, China International Occupational Safety & Health Exposition, will be held November 17-20, 2008, not in September as originally announced due to the Olympic Games.

Hosted by the State Administration of Work Safety, the event will be held at the National Agriculture Exhibition Center in Beijing.

COS+H 2008 will be jointly organized by Messe Düsseldorf China and the National Center for International Exchange & Cooperation on Work Safety P.R. China, with the support of the U.S.-based National Safety Council.

The organizers expect about 300 exhibitors to display new technologies on about 140,000 square feet of exhibit space to 20,000 trade visitors. Exhibit categories will include personal protective equipment, occupational safety, transportation safety, chemical safety, fire protection, mine safety, nuclear safety products, oil and gas safety equipment, as well as lifting equipment and dust explosion prevention.

In addition, COS+H 2008 will feature six “demonstration zones” on various safety topics and a new “emergency management” section.

The 4th China International Work Safety Forum and technical seminars will complement the exhibits.

For further information on visiting or exhibiting at COS+H 2008, contact Messe Düsseldorf North America at (312) 781-5180; info@mdna.com, or www.mdna.com.
