The National Advisory Committee on Ergonomics (NACE) will continue its goal of developing recommendations for OSHA regarding workplace ergonomics at its sixth and final meeting November 16-17 in Washington, D.C.

At the upcoming meeting, the 15-member group expects to finalize its ergonomics recommendations to OSHA, according to ergoweb.com. Previous meetings resulted in the development of subgroups among the committee to provide greater focus on the subjects of research, development of guidelines, and implementing outreach and education.

The meeting is the last in the group’s two-year charter. The group has been tasked by OSHA to find research that can be used on a practical level and that fits into the business case for ergonomics.
