Perry is the principal for Frank H. Perry & Associates, Inc. located in Franklin, Texas. He retired from Cooper Cameron Corporation as Health, Safety and Environmental Director after 26 years with the organization. He is a Certified Safety Professional in Comprehensive Practice and a Registered Professional Safety Engineer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and he is a Certified Health, Safety & Environmental Trainer. He also is a Professional Member, past President and Fellow of the American Society of Safety Engineers.
Perry currently serves as Chair of the standard “Accepted Practices for Hydrogen Sulfide Safety Training Programs”(ANSI Z390.1-2006) and as Vice-Chair of the standard “Accepted Practices in Safety, Health and Environmental Training” (ANSI Z490.1).
Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) is really prevalent here in the south/southwest, but also is becoming more prevalent in other areas where oil and gas exploration is taking hold in light of the U.S. trying to break our dependence on foreign oil reserves.
