This program considers elimination of hazards to workers through the design, construction, and operation phases of a project and covers accepted strategies and best practices for developing programs that will lead to the implementation of improved safety initiatives in your organization.

Learning Objectives:

- Collaborate with other construction disciplines to identify safety requirements and eliminate hazards to workers and occupants

- Create innovative approaches, including technology and resource management, to minimize risks associated with construction and facility operations

- Apply strategies and best practices during each phase of construction

- Participate in constructability analyses to identify risks and challenges and develop strategies to ensure worker safety

- Develop programs that will lead to implementation of these concepts in your organization

- Evaluate the safety impacts of decisions made during each phase of a project
