In addition to providing opportunities to network with EHS colleagues, the midday meals at the American Society of Safety Engineers' (ASSE) Safety 2015 in Dallas June 7-10 will offer some additional benefits. Additional fee and/or pre-registration is required for some sessions.

Monday

The lunch on Monday, June 8 (11:45AM - 12:30PM) is a complimentary plated luncheon, open to all conference attendees. After lunch, the ASSE Safety 2015 Expo Fashion Show will showcase the newest work wear, protective clothing, and safety accessories.

There will also be a Chapter Awards Recognition Lunch on Monday, from 11:45AM - 1:00PM. All chapter members are invited to attend. RSVP required.

Tuesday

Tuesday’s lunch (11:45AM - 12:30PM) will also be followed by an ASSE Safety 2015 Expo Fashion Show.

Additionally, Council on Practices and Standards Awards Luncheon (11:45AM - 1:00PM) will provide awards and gives recognition to those who go above and beyond to give back and help lead the OSH profession. All practice specialty members are invited to attend. RSVP required.

Wednesday

Wednesday’s luncheon session will feature a special presentation by Mike Staver entitled, “Leadership Isn’t for Cowards.”  Mike Staver will offer straightforward steps to leading courageously and practical tips for driving performance.  From ASSE: “Courageous leadership means toughening your approach by being rigorous in the application of your values through the company culture. It means confronting and challenging people, and not letting them get away with being less than you know they can be.”

Wednesday’s luncheon program will also include the annual the Board of Certified Safety Professionals will conduct their Annual Award of Excellence Presentation Ceremony.
