Haws® launches expanded portable eyewash product family

July 21, 2016

HawsHaws® is proud to announce the availability of a new line of ANSI Compliant Portable Eyewash products to help facilities provide emergency response solutions everywhere. The enhanced product family includes Personal Emergency Eyewashes, a Tempered Portable Eyewash, and two Air-Pressurized Portable Eyewashes.

Personal Emergency Eyewashes are for use when eye contamination occurs and provides immediate flushing fluid while the injured person is en route to a primary emergency station. Offering two sterile liquid options, the DUO eyewash comes in various sizes and mounting options with an advanced pH Neutral treatment and a Saline option. With two ergonomic streams, the DUO eyewash provides simultaneous eye coverage allowing both eyes to be treated with an advanced rinse process for supplementary flushing support. Haws’ Personal Emergency Eyewashes meet ANSI Z358.1 requirement for a supplemental eyewash system.

Haws Model 7501T is the only tempered portable eyewash on the market with a self-contained, 9-gallon, gravity-fed, tempered eyewash. The unit uses a heated, insulated blanket to provide ANSI-compliant tempered water in ambient operating temperatures from -30°F (-34°C) to 100°F (38°C) in non-extreme outdoor conditions. Ideal for remote locations without access to a continuous potable water source. Haz Loc and voltage options are available.

Model 7603 is a 15-gallon (57 L), self-contained, air-pressurized, portable eyewash. Ideal, cost-efficient solution for a facility’s ANSI eyewash requirements in locations without access to a continuous potable water source. The unit provides approximately 10 usable gallons (37.9 liters) of water for effective rinsing of the eyes, face or body. Operating pressure: 75 psi. Optional drench hose (model 8901B).

Model 7601.15 is a 15-gallon (57 L), self-contained, air-pressurized, portable eyewash with an ASME rated tank. Ideal solution for a facility’s ANSI eyewash requirements in locations without access to a continuous potable water source and where an ASME rated tank is required. The unit provides approximately 10 usable gallons (37.9 liters) of water for effective rinsing of the eyes, face and body. Operating pressure: 100 psi. Optional drench hose (model 8901B).

Spec sheets and supplemental literature for all portable products is available to download on the Hawsco.com website.
