Workrite Uniform Company collects recipes for second fire service cookbook

Workrite
January 17, 2018

Workrite Uniform Company, a manufacturer of flame-resistant (FR) clothing, including station wear for firefighters, is asking the fire service community to share their favorite recipes for inclusion in the company’s second Fire Service Cookbook. To submit a recipe, and receive a free FR apron in return, interested individuals should visit http://www.workrite.com/apron by Feb. 9, 2018, to complete the submission form.

All types of recipes are welcome — from traditional breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes to off-the-wall favorites, healthy snacks, irresistible appetizers, delicious desserts and beyond. Workrite Uniform expects to release the completed cookbook in April of 2018.

“Firefighters work incredibly hard, sometimes risking their lives, to protect us and our communities,” said Lew White, Workrite Uniform’s vice president of marketing and merchandising. “We are tremendously grateful for their efforts, and we see this cookbook as a fun opportunity to acknowledge all the amazing things firefighters do — both on the job and behind the grill.”

Workrite Uniform released its first Fire Service Cookbook in 2017. The cookbook included a wide variety of recipes from firefighters across North America and is currently available on Amazon at http://www.amazon.com/dp/1545491577.

In addition to its fire service cookbooks, Workrite Uniform offers a broad selection of FR station wear through its Workrite FR Fire Service brand. Designed to provide an added layer of FR protection, Workrite FR Fire Service station wear is UL certified to NFPA 1975 and available in a variety of classic and modern styles for both men and women. For more information, visit http://www.fireservicefr.com.
