ClickSafety launches revised, updated California OSHA 10-hour Construction trainin

January 25, 2018

ClickSafety, the leading provider of online safety and health training for the construction, general and mining industries, has released its updated California OSHA 10-hour Construction training. Established in California nearly two decades ago, ClickSafety pioneered California-specific OSHA training designed to help keep workers safe, while earning the OSHA 10-hour card.

The course is applicable for construction and construction-related workers, supervisors and managers, and focuses on California-specific OSHA construction standards found in Title 8, California Code of Regulations, Subchapter 4. Topics range from fall and electrocution hazards to appropriate material handling and protective equipment, with content focused on enabling participants to recognize, evaluate, avoid and mitigate hazards, and prevent workplace incidents. The training also covers California OSHA requirements and reinforces the importance of actively fostering a workplace safety culture.

Learners who successfully complete the course will understand how to minimize or eliminate the impact of hazards in the workplace, follow California OSHA standards, and gain knowledge and information that allow them to better understand their specific organizations' safety and health policies and procedures.

"Our revised, updated content for the California OSHA 10-hour for Construction training reflects our ongoing commitment to offer clients the most relevant and robust training possible," said ClickSafety General Manager Ed Moura. "It also furthers our mission of creating and maintaining a culture of safety in the workplace."

ClickSafety uses a flexible, customizable and interactive "student-centered" e-learning platform designed to ensure learning and retention.  Participants who successfully complete a course receive completion and training record documentation (e.g. Cal/OSHA 10 certification card), and IACET Continuing Education Units.
