Haws^® is pleased to announce the following internal promotions and new team members. These changes are in support of Haws’ continued success in the emergency equipment and hydration industries.

Sam Sarver – Vice President of Sales
Sarver has been a crucial part of the Haws sales team for the last 13 years holding various positions within the Sales group. With his most recent promotion to Vice President of Sales, Sarver will now add the responsibility for the oversight and day-to-day international sales operations to his existing role. “With this new role, Sam puts his tremendous safety industry background to work for our international teams as they continue to drive growth through our valued distribution partners,” says Tom White, President and CEO of Haws.

Bruna Leite Mazurchi – Managing Director- Latin America

Bruna has been a part of the Haws/Avlis family since 2004 with various roles and cross-departmental experience in customer service, finance, sales, and operations. Mazurchi has been successfully leading the Latin American team for more than two years and in her expanded role she will continue to lead strategic initiatives for growth in her marketplace.  “This promotion recognizes Bruna’s strong capabilities and demonstrated leadership of our second largest regional operation,” Tom says. Bruna has a bachelor’s degree in law from Faculdade De Direito de Itu and a Master’s degree in Business Management from FGV Fundação Getúlio Vargas.

Both Sam and Bruna’s experience, expertise, and knowledge provide an invaluable resource to the Global Leadership Team and to the Haws organization.

NEW TEAM MEMBERS:

James Burwell – Senior Global Product Manager

With more than 18 years of sales, marketing, and product development experience, Burwell joins the Haws team as the Senior Global Product Manager. He will globally lead product portfolio management, market intelligence, and product design. Burwell holds an Executive MBA from Michigan State University Broad College of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University.                                            

Peter Chan – Global Sourcing Manager

Chan joins the Haws Finance team with more than 15 years of supply chain experience heavily focused within the global oil and gas industry. With a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from State University of New York at Buffalo, Chan will be leveraging his depth of experience to manage and support the global sourcing, procurement, and supplier management functions.
