Electrical contracting work benefits from safety training
A compact, six-day course is available for anyone in the construction field who wants to learn about safety requirements related to electrical contracting work. The 30-hour course covers safety training that meets the standards of OSHA. It will be offered over three weekends in March by the Hunterdon County (NJ) Electrical Contractors Association (HCECA).
“Training like this can help contractors avoid fines, but more importantly it can keep people safe,” said Tony Maglio, owner of Maglio Electric LLC in Hampton and president of the HCECA. “Safety is a priority in the industry, and training is the key to safety.” By attending, electrical contractors can obtain 30 hours of CEU credits at the same time.
