Two St. Louis area eye doctors relaunch Complete Eye Safety

Complete Adds veteran safety glasses executive John Stewart as Partner

Complete Eye Care
January 28, 2020

Two St. Louis area eye doctors, Dr. Mark Kahrhoff, OD (shown at left) and Dr. Derek Wiles, OD (at right), are relaunching, rebranding and reenergizing Complete Eye Safety, a company providing occupational and industrial prescription safety eyewear and services to companies throughout the Midwest.

The relaunch includes a compete offering of the latest prescription safety glasses as well as “industry specific” eyewear, a new website for online ordering, proprietary services such as on-site vision tests, Optician-on-Demand, on-site eye doctor seminars and consultation, and even a mobile unit with lens processing capabilities.

To assist in the firm’s relaunch the doctors have brought on John Stewart, the former owner of Industrial Vision Corporation in St. Louis, to serve as a Partner. Stewart will oversee Complete’s sales and marketing and will leverage his 30 plus years of industry experience to bring on new clients and focus on opportunities for growth.

“Complete Eye Safety is going to fill the need for a more professional, hands-on approach in providing safety products and services. As the industry trend has shifted to an increase in remote ordering there is a lack of attention given to actual vision performance. The safety of the worker is often overlooked. Our focus is to provide the upmost in eyesight protection for clients and patients,” Kahrhoff said.

According to Kahrhoff many companies allow workers to simply order whatever eyewear brand is popular and stylish without regard to compliance issues or on the job performance. This often increases the odds for injury and company liability.

“Since Complete is owned and operated by eye physicians and trained occupational opticians we are readily available to work with clients on-site and/or online as the needs arise. Our eye doctors are dedicated to safety-first with a goal of 100% compliance with all federal regulations. Clients will find our hands-on approach is a great benefit when they transition their corporate prescription eye protection program to Complete Eye Safety.”

About Complete Eye Safety

Complete Eye Safety prides itself on protecting the workers’ eyesight by offering clients a much higher level of expertise, industry specific eyewear, and custom services. This includes a large selection of prescription safety eyewear and industry specific prescription eyewear with Full Field-of-Vision for forklift and mobile equipment operators, non-conductive eyewear for the electrical industry, laboratory, dust and wind protection eyewear, and the only line of Certified Rx Spectacle Kit Inserts for Full-Face respirator masks in the US. Trained occupational eye physicians and opticians will actually go on-site to provide services. Proprietary services include on-site occupational vision tests, plant inspections, non-compliance inspections and on-site eye examinations, and eye doctor conducted eye safety seminars. The firm also maintains a full-service, state-of-the-art, digital lens processing lab certified to meet or exceed ANSI Z87 Safety Compliance Standards. Complete Eye Safety provides program assessment, management, implementation and a guaranteed 100% full compliant eye protection program. https://completeeyesafety.com
