SpatialCortex, a leader in innovative health and safety technology, announces that it has been selected as a finalist in the prestigious National Safety Council (NSC) Safety Innovation Challenge 2025, specifically for their innovative approach to preventing work-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). This recognition positions SpatialCortex among the most innovative companies working to solve one of the workplace's most pervasive and costly safety challenges. Being selected as a finalist validates SpatialCortex’s MOVA wearable sensor technology as an innovative approach to MSD prevention and aligns perfectly with the NSC's mission to inspire a global movement across all industries that improves workplace safety, reduces MSD risk, and improves worker wellbeing.
The NSC is America's leading voice in workplace safety innovation, particularly in the fight against work-related musculoskeletal disorders. Through their MSD Solutions Lab, the NSC has committed to making work-related musculoskeletal disorders, or MSDs, a problem of the past. This year's NSC’s MSD Prevention Safety Innovation Challenge is actively seeking innovative solutions that reduce the frequency or severity of musculoskeletal disorders by mitigating MSD-related risks in the workplace, such as forceful exertion, awkward postures and repetitive motion.
Kailash Manohara Selvan, Founder & CEO said “We are proud to be selected as a
finalist in the NSC Safety Innovation Challenge and looking forward to demonstrating our MOVA technology at the show. We will be showing our MOVA manual-handling ergonomic risk assessment solution, alongside our latest MOVA SEAT solution for desk- based ergonomics. Our solutions enable objective ergonomic assessments, without manual observation or cameras, providing real-world, data-driven insights”
