Latai Dustlight Software Solution

Latai GmbH enables centralized, fleet-level management of respirable dust exposure with Dustlight. The technology allows HSE managers to view exposure data from all Dustlight personal dust monitors in a single dashboard. It provides visibility into exposure trends, measurements metrics, compliance status, and additional functions. The new capabilities address the increasing need for structured exposure management in organizations operating multiple devices and workplaces.
Dustlight software addresses the evaluation of respirable dust exposure at organizational level through its Mobile and Web applications, which provide access to measurement data collected by the wearable Dustlight devices during daily operations. While measuring, the Dustlight devices protect wearers by providing intuitive real-time notifications via light or acoustic signals.
Centralized measurement access enables safety managers to review exposure data from all users within the organization in one dashboard. This supports consistent oversight for internal reporting and compliance-related evaluations and reduces the effort required to collect and compare data from individual devices. By consolidating measurements across users and locations, exposure conditions can be assessed in a broader operational context.
Long-term exposure trends allow organizations to observe how exposure levels develop over weeks, months, or a year. This makes it possible to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented technical or organizational safety measures and to identify recurring exposure patterns. Trend-based evaluation supports data-based decisions aimed at reducing long-term health risks. The compliance overview provides a clear indication of whether measured exposure levels remain within applicable limits. In addition, device utilization insights show when and how Dustlight devices are used by each worker in practice.
The Dustlight app is available in three software plans. The described functions above are part of the Corporate Plan. In addition, the Corporate Plan includes all features available in the Business Plan. These include continuous calculation of the 8-hour Time-Weighted Average (TWA), enabling documentation of cumulative exposure, as well as Short-Term Exposure Limit (STEL) evaluation based on rolling 15-minute averages. This provides visibility into short-term peak exposures, their duration, and frequency throughout the workday.
Further capabilities include insights into particle size distributions, allowing exposure to different particulate matter sizes to be assessed in relation to specific tasks or environments. Incident reporting notes can be added in the app, supporting traceability by linking measurements to work processes or activities.
