America's Hardest Working Boot Goes Back To Basics With The Chieftain

May 6, 2011

Georgia Boot® maintains its title as "America's Hardest Working Boot" with its newest collection for fall 2011, the Chieftain.

Inspired by Georgia's traditional work boot design, the Chieftain is built with materials like full-grain leather and a Vibram Lug outsole that can handle the toughest terrain.

“The Chieftain is one of the best-looking and hardest-working boots on the market,” said Jordan Gottke, Marketing Manager for Georgia Boot®. "With its timeless styling and sturdy design, it's sure to become an instant classic in the work category."

The Chieftain is available in 6" and 8" styles, in both Saddle Tan and Adventure Brown. Options also include ASTM certified toe protection and electrical hazard protection, Georgia Waterproof System and 600 grams of Thinsulate Ultra insulation. Styles have a suggested retail from $139.99-$164.99.

For over 60 years, Georgia Boot® has been a leader in the work footwear market. Based in Nelsonville, Ohio, the company manufactures and markets quality work and outdoor footwear. The company's products are available in nearly 3,000 retail and catalog outlets. It is a division of Rocky Brands, a publicly traded company on NASDAQ® under the symbol: RCKY.
