Rick Raymer (rick@safetysp.com) is president of Safety Solution Partners LLC. Rick has his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) and is a Board-Certified Safety Professional (CSP). After a 30-year career at Procter & Gamble, he retired as a senior safety manager. Rick is also course director for the Qualified Safety Sales Professional (QSSP) course sponsored by the International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) and an Authorized OSHA General Industry and Construction Trainer.
A rather simple description of culture is: That’s just the way we do things around here. From a safety & health perspective, the way things are done stays the same until someone or some group, with the competency and power to make change, becomes dissatisfied with the S&H status quo.
