Convention NewsThe Global Petroleum Show (GPS) 2012 will kick off in the energy capital of Canada, Calgary, Alberta, on Tuesday, June 12 and run through Thursday, June 14 at Stampede Park.

GPS is recognized as the meeting place for the global oil and gas industry and is the largest energy event in Canada and one of the largest in the world. Held every two years, the event has expanded to include more exhibition space to meet demand and early indicators reveal that attendance is up significantly over 2010.

GPS will host over 60,000 registered attendees from 95 different countries worldwide and will feature more than 2,000 exhibiting companies showcasing the latest technologies available for the oil and gas industry.
