The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) announced in a recent press release that it has developed and distributed new interactive electronic newsletters for each of its 16 Practice Specialty (PS) groups, providing members with not only the latest specialty news, but live links to videos, documents and websites with capabilities to e-mail leadership and article authors.

The new electronic format provides a tutorial and navigation buttons which allow readers to zoom in and out of pages, click-navigate through an active table of contents, and provides search and downloading.

The 16 ASSE PSs include Academics, Construction, Consultants, Engineering, Environmental, Fire Protection, Healthcare, Industrial Hygiene, International, Management, Manufacturing, Mining, Oil and Gas, Public Sector, Risk Management/Insurance and Transportation. The four branches of the PS groups include Ergonomics, Hospitality, Human Resources and Training & Communications. PS membership is open to any ASSE member. The cost is $20.00 per year.
