All three had worked together at Wilmington-based MBNA, a credit card issuer. Kenneth Tripp killed Timothy Love, 44, at his home with two shotgun blasts. Another co-worker was also attacked at her home, but escaped with injuries that were not serious.
At about 10:20 p.m. on Saturday night, a man rang the doorbell at Love's two-story. Love's 15-year-old daughter answered the doorbell and briefly chatted with the man before he asked to speak to her father, police said. The man fired two blasts, striking Love once in the neck, then fled.
The next morning, Tripp was found dead on a golf course near his home.
