Have fewer employees out sick with the flu, with help from CDC (3/14)

With the 2011-2011 flu season still in full swing, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is offering advice for how to reduce influenza in the workplace.

A collection of useful links at the CDC website leads to information on how to promote flu vaccinations among employees, encourage hygienic practices that will reduce the transmission of the illness and recognize the signs early.

In addition, the CDC has prevention strategies for specific kinds of workplaces:
  • Healthcare environments
  • Schools and daycares
  • Commercial aircraft
