Moldex® awarded Frost & Sullivan Award (9/15)

The 2008 Frost & Sullivan Award for Green Excellence in Product Innovation in the North American hearing and respiratory protection market is being presented to Moldex-Metric, Inc., according to a company press release. Moldex had previously been recognized as the 2005 Hearing Protection Products Growth Strategy Leadership of the Year Award.

“The 2008 Frost & Sullivan award is presented in acknowledgement of Moldex’s commitment to environmental sustainability, focus on launching environment-friendly respiratory protection and hearing protection product lines and is mutually beneficial to Moldex’s business practices and to society as a whole. The award is in recognition of the company’s proactive development of the first 100% PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride)-Free product line. Moldex’s excellence in delivering environmental sustainability is also apparent in its motivation to develop novel “green” products and its ability to be a potential change agent within the hearing and respiratory protection industry. Being the first company to offer these types of products in the market gives Moldex a critical competitive advantage. It helps the company build a strong brand image to consolidate its strong position within the hearing and respiratory protection market,” the release states.

Moldex is a leading manufacturer of respiratory and hearing protection. With over 25 years of innovation, Moldex says it is one of the most recognized and respected names in worker safety. Moldex products provide comfort and style for wearers and cost savings for employers, the company says. Moldex holds over 50 patents for innovative and unique products, according to the manufacturer.
