The significantly revised ANSI/ASSE Z117.1-2003 Standard - Safety Requirements for Confined Spaces has been published and is now available.

Cited in OSHA interpretations, the Z117.1 Standard is a significant standard used by many, if not most, EHS professionals as a resource for entry into confined spaces.

ASSE is hosting a Confined Spaces Program featuring a technical conference call on April 29 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm CST. The program is only $75 for members. If you would like to participate, contact ASSE's Customer Service Department at (8470 699-2929 or visit ASSE's Web site at http://www.asse.org/fr3384c.htm.
