Protective Industrial Products, Inc. adds new team members

Protective Industrial Products, Inc. (PIP), a leading manufacturer of gloves and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), has added three new members to its sales management team.

David Dorlack has been named Regional Sales Manager for the upper Midwest, a position which covers Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North and South Dakota. David joins the Industrial Division working for Mike Brooks, National Sales Manager, to develop and oversee sales in this region.

A University of Wisconsin-Platteville graduate, David worked in several aspects of the safety industry including material handling, management and operations before accepting the Territory Manager position covering the Milwaukee market at Ansell in 1998. Between 1998 and 2004, David was responsible for continuous territory growth and received the President’s Club Award four times. In addition, he earned the Circle of Success award in 2000 and 2004 which is presented to the top salesperson each year at Ansell. His success turning Airgas into a strong partner and his ability to develop relationships with clients led to his promotion to National Account Manager in 2004.

Kris Eichelberger has been named National Sales Manager for SafetyGear by PIP. Kris joins PIP with a comprehensive background in the safety industry. After 10 years working for Aearo Technologies in management she worked in distribution for two years as a division sales manager.

As the National Sales Manager for SafetyGear by PIP, Kris is responsible for growing sales and helping position PIP as a major supplier of PPE within the industry. She will oversee three Market Managers and assist the marketing and production management teams develop sales tools and programs to support the PPE line. Kris will work out of her home office in Waterloo, IL and manage the Midwest territory including North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska.

PIP has named Ron McElroy to the position of Regional Sales Manager- Texas and Oklahoma. A graduate of Texas A&M University and the Executive MBA program at the University of Phoenix, Ron comes to PIP after nine years at Sperian as a Hand Protection Sales Manager. He earned the Salesman of the Year title in 2007 and received the Quota Achievement award every year from 2002 through 2008. Previous employers include Bay West Paper, Oil-Dri, NASCO and ENPAC.

“We are very excited to have Ron join our team. With both experience and knowledge of the safety industry, we expect Ron to be a valuable part of our staff,” Robin Roberts, VP of Sales and Marketing, stated.
