PureSafety, a leading provider of software and information solutions for workforce health and safety, has added seasoned software executives Ben Scott and Brett Williams to its growing team. These strategic new hires are the latest step in PureSafety's 2011 planned growth, which includes the addition of approximately 20 technology jobs by July.

The additions to PureSafety's current workforce of 230 industry professionals follow the January acquisition of Occupational Health Research (OHR). Based in Maine, OHR's occupational health management software serves more than 800 hospitals and occupational health care facilities nationwide. The combination has positioned PureSafety as the largest and most comprehensive provider of health and safety solutions, not only to the employer marketplace but also to occupational health providers.

“Expanding the PureSafety team positions us to achieve continued growth and product innovation,” said Bill Grana, PureSafety’s president and chief executive officer. “Ben and Brett each bring a wealth of talent that complements our current leadership and enhances our expertise in critical business functions."

As senior director of infrastructure and security, Scott will focus on quality assurance and infrastructure development. Within this role, Scott is responsible for overseeing the company's data centers and application production environments. A technology and operations veteran with more than 25 years of experience, Scott most recently served as senior vice president of operations at Passport Health Communications. He received his Bachelor of Science in Computer and Mathematics from Vanderbilt University.

Williams joins as director of product management. With responsibility for PureSafety’s product roadmap, he will drive strategy across software solutions from inception to market adoption. Williams is former director of product management at Aspect Software, a $515 million leader in the call center software industry. Williams earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Vanderbilt University and his Master of Business Administration from Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management.
