PureSafety adds sales rep to Construction Industry Practice Group (12/29)

December 29, 2008

PureSafety, a leading provider of online safety training and risk management software solutions, has hired Rochelle Antis, a top online construction safety training sales representative formerly employed by ClickSafety, according to a recent company press release. Ms. Antis, based in San Diego, expands PureSafety’s growing nationwide sales organization, and will join a six-person team dedicated solely to the construction industry.

“Rochelle was consistently a top sales performer with ClickSafety — she has an impressive network of construction industry relationships and nearly a decade of experience selling online safety training solutions to the industry,” said Mike Kroll, PureSafety’s senior vice president of sales. “Like the rest of our dedicated construction safety sales team, she understands the economic and compliance pressures that construction companies face in today’s market, and she wants to do more to help them protect their people while streamlining key processes and reducing costs.”

According to Kroll, PureSafety’s longstanding — and ongoing — commitment to the construction industry was a major factor in attracting Ms. Antis. “The recent sale of ClickSafety to college publisher Jones and Bartlett was troubling given their focus on publishing text, professional, and reference books rather than serving the safety training needs of the construction industry,” he said. “By contrast, PureSafety was born out of a heavy equipment workplace fatality, so our people understand, and are deeply motivated by, the challenges faced by construction industry safety professionals. We have many long-term construction clients — and we can assure the industry, and people like Rochelle, that we intend to grow our construction safety business for years to come.”

Kroll added that PureSafety’s robust safety training offering includes flexible training delivery and management options, over 450 online courses covering all aspects of Environmental, Health and Safety and an expert team of in-house subject matter and content development experts. PureSafety’s suite of courseware also includes many construction-specific courses, including an OSHA 10-Hour program for construction available in both English and Spanish. PureSafety will also have a 30-Hour program available very soon.
