Wilhelm. Trumka said, "A united labor movement will serve the interests of working people during this time of incredible opportunity."
Asserting that "our 265,000 members belong in the House of Labor," UNITE HERE has rejoined the 11.5-member AFL-CIO.

Trumka will continue to lead conversations with other unions about affiliation and reaffiliation to take advantage of the best political climate for organized labor in years.
