New Vice President of Sales at Apollo Performance Gloves

Ted BuckApollo Performance Gloves, a dynamic and innovative manufacturer of performance work gloves for the safety, industrial, construction, and oil and gas markets, announces the addition of Ted Buck as Vice President of Sales.

Buck is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the safety industry, including extensive work managing sales and corporate national account teams. Prior to joining Apollo, Buck served as Director of National Accounts for IBC, a national buying group for independent distributors and manufacturers. He also worked with ORR Safety Corporation, a national distributor of occupational safety products and served in various sales and marketing roles, most recently as VP of Corporate Accounts. Earlier in his career, he worked for Schneider Electric (formerly Square D) as a Safety Engineer and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Safety Management from Indiana State University.

Kirby Blalock, President of Apollo, stated that Buck’s appointment to this role is part of Apollo’s aggressive strategy to proactively promote and penetrate the industrial hand protection market. “Buck has years of experience in all levels of the industry which brings tremendous value to our distributors and end- user customers," said Blalock. “With his addition, we are anticipating significant growth in our hand protection business.”

Buck is eager to move forward with his strategies for growing the company’s sales channels and developing new business, backed by the expertise of the entire Apollo team. “Apollo is an extremely collaborative and high energy group,” said Buck. “I am looking forward to contributing to the growth of the organization.”
