5 STAR SALES – Borne from true mentorship

July 5, 2016

On July 5th, 5 STAR SALES will assume responsibility for the manufacturer sales and marketing agency of the Mentor Group, a 20-plus year legacy in the Safety business. Mentor, headed by Margo and Tom Webb, built a solid reputation on providing customers with clear solutions to any PPE challenge. Together, they mentored an amazing team of professionals who now take the baton under the banner of 5 STAR SALES. On behalf of the entire PIP team, I personally wish to thank Tom and Margo Webb for all their efforts in helping PIP grow and develop. To us, they are and will always be part of our family.

For the most part, it will be business-as-usual with our customers and partners. However, 5 STAR SALES feels that this is also an opportunity to capitalize on what was built by adding a new dimension, with broader and deeper focus in sales and customer training. “The goal is to take what we’ve learned and apply selected best practices from our entire team, as well as from our partners, such as Protective Industrial Products, Inc. who is America’s leader in reusable gloves today,” says Steve Curl co-founding associate.

5 STAR SALES will be guided by five key principles:

1. Partner with only a few select manufacturers to ensure our mutual success
2. Share experiences and successes
3. Serve distributor needs with training and tools for their success
4. Build brand loyalty with users by bringing them knowledge
5. Selling jointly with our distributor partners and manufacturers in a systems approach

The 5 STAR SALES Team 5 STAR SALES will service the following areas: Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia and Tennessee. The 5 STAR SALES team will consist of Stephen Curl, Joey Worthington, Al Garner, Tim Barnes, Kevin O’Hearn, Mark Nichols, and Rick Crotts. To contact the 5 STAR SALES Office at 1056 Governors Road, Mount Pleasant SC 29464, call Jennifer Curl, Office Manager at 843-367-1630.
