VelocityEHS strengthens award-winning EHS&S platform with addition of air emissions, water and waste compliance products

October 3, 2016

VelocityEHS, the leading cloud environment, health, safety (EHS) and sustainability software provider, announced today it has strengthened its award-winning EHS software platform with the addition of three new cloud software products, including Air Emissions, Water Quality and Waste Compliance. The three new solutions are part of a strategic acquisition of e3 Solutions’ environmental management products and its product leadership team. The acquisition by VelocityEHS makes it affordable for companies of all sizes to automate air, water and waste management to meet their most challenging compliance reporting responsibilities.

Complying with air emissions standards is a complex, rigorous process that requires precise data, especially for companies with U.S. Clean Air Act Title V permit requirements. To meet the strict reporting criteria, many companies manually enter data on spreadsheets, increasing their risk for errors and inconsistencies, while other companies turn to costly outside consultants for help. The VelocityEHS Air Emissions product offers an affordable and reliable process to transform high volume production data into measurable calculations to report. The system scales to handle every application from simple pollution tracking needs to comprehensive Title V and emission inventory reporting across the enterprise. Quick and easy to implement, the VelocityEHS Air Emissions system can be up and running in less time than most options available in the market.

“VelocityEHS is now part of a select few EHS&S software providers offering a robust Air Emissions product, and one of the only with a cloud solution that can scale from a single location to large complex organizations with multiple sites,” said Glenn Trout, president and CEO of VelocityEHS. “Our environmental products make it easy to record and analyze air, water, and waste data from all sources, and perform complex calculations in real-time to provide the most accurate, up-to-date monitoring and reporting capabilities available.”

Similar to the Air Emissions product, the water and hazardous waste management solutions help companies ensure regulatory compliance and improve their environmental performance by providing the data necessary to reduce waste and consumption. The Water Quality product simplifies and streamlines water sampling and monitoring at each point of discharge, and quickly performs loading calculations for NPDES DMR reporting. The Waste Compliance product tracks waste generation and shipment manifesting, and automatically prepares reports for regulatory agencies, including the National Biennial RCRA Hazardous Waste Report.

“The VelocityEHS mission and its commitment to delivering affordable, quick to implement and simple solutions to help meet the requirements of an ever-changing regulatory landscape sets it apart from other EHS software providers and made it the perfect fit for our environmental management products,” said Julian Moffatt, former vice president of client solutions at e3 Solutions and now environmental solutions director at VelocityEHS. “As part of the VelocityEHS Platform, companies can now better control and report on their air emissions, water quality and waste management programs with greater efficiency, visibility, and ease.”

VelocityEHS’ comprehensive, cloud-based EHS management software platform helps users solve complex EHS business challenges in simple ways by providing a real-time, global view of the operational risks that exist in their workplace. The addition of the Air Emissions, Water Quality, and Waste Compliance products further strengthen the VelocityEHS Platform, recently voted the best EHS management software solution by ASSE Safety 2016 attendees and ISHN magazine readers, by providing more effective methods to track and meet today’s ever-changing regulations and intricate compliance obligations at a lower cost than other systems’ time-consuming and consultant-focused implementation models.
