PIP Global Appoints Chief Operating Officer

Protective Industrial Products announces the appointment of Thomas (Tom) C. Fry in the position of Chief Operating Officer. Tom will report directly to President and CEO of PIP Global, Joe Milot Sr.

In this new role, Tom will have direct responsibility for Sourcing & Procurement, Manufacturing, Warehousing & Logistics, Information Technology, Human Resources and Order Management. Tom will also focus his efforts on providing leadership and process improvement to drive accelerated organic growth and acquisition initiatives, as well as converging markets and global expansion.

“PIP is definitely an American success story,” says Tom Fry, “Its amazing growth path and focus on the customer experience is what attracted me to join this incredible team. I’m truly excited to help continue this trend by bringing my experience and best practices to the executive team.”

Prior to joining PIP, Tom held executive-level operating roles with multiple organizations spanning from industrial filtration equipment to high-volume consumable products. Since 2010, Tom held key positions with Danaher Corporation - a global science and technology innovation company. Tom contributed to growth across ten business units. He has been recognized for delivering breakthrough product quality improvements and implementing supply chain management changes to drastically improve on-time delivery and cost reduction.

Tom earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy and a Master of Science degree from the University of Southern California.

“This is a very exciting time for PIP and I hope everyone can take great pride in all we have accomplished. We are on a very promising path and I look forward to working with Tom to achieve all of our goals,” explained Joe Milot Sr., in a recent address to PIP employees. He went on to say, “Through our mutual efforts, we will continue to develop PIP Global into a World Class Organization for the benefit of our Customers, Employees, Suppliers, and Shareholders.”
