January 2, 2020

Guardair Corporation, the largest U.S. manufacturer of OSHA compliant safety air guns and pneumatic vacuums, is pleased to announce several new personnel changes.

Thomas Ferraro has been named Guardair Corporation Marketing Manager. Thomas joined Guardair in October 2017 with a strong background in marketing technology and digital advertising. In his new role, Thomas will develop and manage strategic marketing programs and optimize omnichannel opportunities in parallel with continuous company growth. “His contributions have helped expand our web presence and web sales,” states Tom Tremblay, President of Guardair Corporation. “We look forward to the role the Marketing Department will play in our future success as Thomas continues to apply his digital expertise and provides leadership to our Marketing Team.”

Guardair also announced the appointment of Scott Burkins as the new Senior Director of Operations.

Scott brings 35 years of experience in the Industrial MRO space. Most recently, he was the Director of Operations and Engineering for Lenox, Stanley Black & Decker in East Longmeadow, MA.

In his new role, Scott will oversee all manufacturing operations. His focus is optimizing production through strategic planning, continuous process improvement, high quality control and safety procedures. “Scott’s track record of advancing operational capabilities by bolstering productivity and implementing quality control will help meet the growing needs of our customers,” states Tom Tremblay, President of Guardair. “We are very pleased to have Scott join our team.”
