Protective Industrial Products, Inc. launches PIP® ESSENTIALS™ SafetyBook
Protective Industrial Products, Inc. (“PIP”), a supplier of hand protection and PPE, announces the launch of the PIP® ESSENTIALS™ SafetyBook, a succinct best practices guide featuring basic protocols related to safe distancing, hygiene and new PPE.
The PIP® ESSENTIALS™ SafetyBook was a collaboration between key members of PIP’s Operations, Marketing and Product Management teams and utilizes their firsthand experience with procedures related to working while maintaining safe distances and practicing proper hygiene to help minimize the spread of contagious disease in a workplace setting. It was designed to be freely shared with PIP’s distributor partners as a tool to help advise their customers as they engage in preparations to reopen their businesses.
John Romano, Chief Commercial Officer, stated, “As a Safety company, it is our duty to provide critical PPE and serve as a role model so workers understand the purpose and capabilities of the PPE they are using – and how it supports new safety protocols.” He added, “Now, more than ever, we are focused on helping our distributor partners service their customers by being the go-to trusted resource for PPE and all their Safety needs as we adapt to this new reality together.”
The PIP® ESSENTIALS™ SafetyBook marks the second phase of the PIP® ESSENTIALS™ program which focuses on PIP® doing its part to help restart and reopen America as the country emerges from the global pandemic. Additional elements of phase two of the PIP ESSENTIALS™ program include a complementary SafetyBook Checklist that companies can use to manage adherence with the protocols, procedures and best practices outlined in the PIP® ESSENTIALS™ SafetyBook as well as a curated list of hand-selected PPE from PIP’s Product Management team.
The development and release of the PIP® ESSENTIALS™ SafetyBook further solidify PIP’s position as a trusted global leader of hand protection and PPE. PIP’s continued goal is to provide its distributors and retailers with choice, service, quality and expertise in an expanded product offering that delivers solutions to meet every need in worker safety.
