Protective Industrial Products, Inc. acquires ISSI; Tim Swift Joins PIP

Summit Training Source offers new GHS training videoProtective Industrial Products has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of Integrated Sourcing and Supply Innovators (ISSI), LLC., a company started in 2004 by Tim Swift and his partner. Mr. Swift will join forces with PIP to help bolster our position as the leading supplier of goggles and tight-fitting eyewear in the industry.

Tim Swift comes to PIP with over 34 years of accomplishments in the safety eyewear market. For 20 years Mr. Swift led the sales management of American Allsafe before it was purchased by Jackson Safety in 1998. In 2004, Tim left Jackson Safety to pursue his own venture by forming Integrated Sourcing and Supply Innovators, LLC. with a focus on providing exceptional customer service while delivering quality products in a timely fashion. His extensive background and knowledge of the safety industry will add valuable depth to PIP’s Sales Management Staff. His primary responsibility will be to build the STAFDA channel of business.

The ISSI selection of goggles and eyewear combined with that of PIP, Bollé Safety and Bouton creates the largest selection of eyewear compared to all other competitors in the market. “I cannot wait to get started and look forward to selling the products, especially eyewear, that make PIP the industry leader in safety,” said Swift.
