According to the International Labor Organization (ILO), more than 2.78 million deaths and nearly 374 million non-fatal injuries occur every year due to accidents and exposures at the workplace.1 In the U.S. alone, the number of fatal injuries came in at over 5,100 for the year 2017.₂
