ULT ProSight Digital Control for Storage Filter Extraction Systems

December 31, 2025

ULT ProSight™ is the new control system for storage filter systems from the global vendor of extraction and filtration technology. It offers ‘professional insights’ into both the individual filtration system and the customer's process, which in turn enables conclusions to be drawn about increasing process productivity.

ULT ProSight offers an intuitive and clear user interface with a large touchscreen display, enabling detailed settings and analysis for the needs-based operation of the respective extraction system. Flexible interfaces for connecting to processing machines, PIN-protected user levels for secure device operation, and a simple update interface for further developments and new features are just some of the additional customer benefits.

Particularly, the support for the new machine communication standard OPC UA − an easy connection between machine tools and filter systems − is possible. This allows for easier data collection and use for optimization purposes. Real-time control is also possible.

Users benefit from ULT ProSight's unique features, such as automated operating modes including direct control (already compatible with the new OPC UA standard), constant airflow, constant vacuum, remote operation, and timed operation. Depending on the extraction unit, the individual filter stages can be monitored via differential pressure. Furthermore, status reports on usage duration and an estimate of upcoming filter changes based on the displayed suction power are available.

ULT ProSight offers three user levels with corresponding protection functions (user, installer, service). Important settings parameters can be locked by the user.

All functionalities can be adapted to the respective customer needs due to flexible parameterization, e.g. localization regarding language and physical units (metric/imperial), operating hour-based filter change intervals, or the adaptation of the control behavior and event messages.

The new ULT device control system will initially be offered for the LAS 260.1 and ULT 400.1 models, additional systems will follow.

Optimal utilization and professional design of extraction and filtration systems help users reduce operating and energy costs. The new ULT ProSight device control system even further enhances this efficiency.
