TOS+H Expo 2026: Central Platform for Occupational Safety, Prevention in Türkiye

By staging TOS+H Expo 2026 at the ICC – Istanbul Congress Centre from May 6-8, 2026, the leading occupational safety and health exhibition in Türkiye will once again provide a central platform for exchange, knowledge transfer and practice-driven solutions for safety at work.
The Exhibition follows on from the success of the previous event, which brought together over 160 exhibitors from 19 countries and more than 4,100 trade visitors from 53 nations. In 2026 the focus will especially be on preventive approaches, digitalisation and resilient safety structures.
The framework for the content results from the amended Law No. 6331 on occupational safety, which has included all companies regardless of headcount and hazard class for the first time since 1 January 2025. Even companies with less than 50 employees are now mandated to appoint occupational safety experts and company physicians. This drives the need for guidance and workable solutions for a widespread and sustainable occupational safety culture.
TOS+H Expo will be accompanied by the 10th International Conference for Health and Safety at Work organised in cooperation with the Turkish Ministry of Labour and Social Security and the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO). The involvement of the Ministry underlines the great importance of occupational safety and health in Türkiye and positions TOS+H Expo 2026 as the focal specialist platform for the national debate on occupational safety.
The programme will shed light on cross-sectoral challenges, share best-practice examples and discuss the regulatory framework, inspection mechanisms as well as disaster and emergency prevention. In focus will be building a safety culture that goes beyond pure compliance with legislation.
The economic magnitude of this topic is considerable: according to data provided by the ISO, the annual costs associated with occupational accidents and diseases exceed five percent of the Turkish gross domestic product. Which is why safety at work is increasingly considered an investment in productivity, competitiveness and social stability. Digital monitoring systems, mobile health solutions and online training play an ever more important role for practical implementation here.
“To us TOS+H Expo is a strategic component in a region where occupational safety is increasingly understood as an economic and social factor. Türkiye plays a key role in this as a growing industrial location with rising demands made on safety and prevention,” explains Petra Cullmann, Executive Director at Messe Düsseldorf.
“The Turkish market is faced with the challenge of implementing new legal requirements in a practitioner-oriented way. TOS+H Expo is placed precisely at this interface and links regulatory requirements with concrete solutions for businesses,” adds Daniel Feische, Director of A+A and its international portfolios.
