TOS+H Expo 2018 met expectations

May 18, 2018

The third staging of TOS+H Expo, Turkish Occupational Safety + Health Exhibition, in Istanbul, confirmed its position as Turkey’s leading platform for this sector. A total of 5,034 trade visitors from 50 countries attended and the 119 exhibiting companies reported that their high expectations were met. The trade fair was in an excellent position due to the ever-increasing global importance of personal protection, operational safety and a healthy workplace. The IX. International Occupational Health and Safety Congress was held concurrently.

TOS+H Expo was organized by Messe Düsseldorf together with the local trade fair company Tezulas Fuar. Messe Düsseldorf is renowned as the organizer of A+A, the world’s leading trade fair for health and safety held in Düsseldorf, Germany.

“It is remarkable how the TOS+H Expo has developed since its première in 2014. It’s been steadily growing and clearly asserting its significance as a leading platform for the industry, both in Turkey and in its neighboring countries,” said Birgit Horn, Global Head of Occupational Safety & Health at Messe Düsseldorf. “This combination has proven valuable again. It’s been a high-caliber convention with inspiring talks and in-depth discussions, on the one hand, coupled with a comprehensive overview of innovative products, equipment and services at the trade fair, on the other. We are proud to be sending clear signals in the market. We're giving a lead, both in Turkey and beyond, on the element that matters most: the individual.”

Speaking for many exhibitors, Gerald Haas, Sales Manager Europe II at UVEX Safety, summed up the atmosphere at the stands: “Once again, TOS+H Expo has proved to be the leading event on occupational health and safety in a dynamic Turkish market. It's a place where important decision-makers were able to meet in a well organized environment.”

TOS+H Expo will return to Istanbul in May 2020. For further information on visiting or exhibiting at TOS+H 2020, contact Messe Düsseldorf North America, 150 North Michigan Avenue, Suite 2920, Chicago, IL 60601. Exhibitor Statements:

Timuçin Şentürk, Marketing Lead, Honeywell

“We have improved our brand awareness with the help of the TOS+H Expo visitor feedback. TOS+H Expo is a great platform to promote the innovative products of the Honeywell brand.”

Merve Şener, Marketing Coordinator, 3M Turkey

“As an exhibitor three times in a row, we are very pleased with the number and quality of visitors. It is a great platform to show our new products and demos. We encourage that type of work in our sector and appreciate the support!”

Nurettin Demir, Foreign Trade Manager, Demir Makine

“We are participating in TOS+H Expo for the third time. Every time we come to TOS+H Expo, we meet major decision makers, interested visitors and well targeted customers. Due to our participation at TOS+H Expo, we can quickly get in touch with professionals in the occupational health and safety sector. The central location of the exhibition center is a big advantage. We had a lot more visitors at TOS+H Expo 2018 than we had expected.”

Mehmet Bildirici, General Manager, İŞMONT

“By coming to the 3rd TOS+H Expo, we were able to highlight our latest technology products. We presented more than twenty new models and highly industrial products and made significant new contacts. We would like to thank the TOS+H Expo team for all the briefings, technical support and valuable cooperation with us before and during the trade fair. We are looking forward to our continued collaboration for forthcoming trade fairs.”

Ahmet Bulut, Company Owner, BES Eldiven

“We are attending TOS+H Expo for the second time. The trade fair was very successful, as it enabled us to present our products to decision-makers in the occupational health and safety sector. TOS+H Expo is exclusively for trade visitors. We have reached our target. And we’d like to thank the TOS+H Expo team for their successful organization.”

Alparslan Memiş, Company Owner, Başaran İş Elbiseleri

“TOS+H Expo is a very interesting and growing trade fair. If we compare TOS+H with other trade fairs, it is very well-organized, and you can find the manufacturers, dealers and key companies of the sector all in one place. It is the best event for occupational health and safety in the Turkish market. We had visitors from Turkey and also from Turkmenistan, China and Azerbaijan.”

Aditya Jajoo, Corporate Sales, ACME Universal Safezone 9 Pvt. Ltd

“It has been an interesting experience to explore such a diverse business geography at TOS+H Expo 2018. Receiving customers from the surrounding nations helped broaden our horizons and maximize the reach of our Indian-manufactured footwear.”
