Aearo Technologies brands has announce their new product lineup for 2008 with innovations in eye protection, respiratory protection, head protection and fall protection.
Eye Protection
AOSafety teams with Orange County Choppers™ for compliant eye protection. The look and the attitude of Orange County Choppers eyewear are as tough as the name itself. The new OCC 700 and OCC 800 Series provide anti-fog, high-impact protection with edgy styling in clear, gray or indoor/outdoor mirror lenses, half-frame and frameless designs, all while meeting critical ANSI Z87.1-2003 standards.
New indoor/outdoor protection in one with UV Reactive SmartLens™. SmartLens photochromic eyewear adjusts from light to dark environments in seconds, meeting ANSI Z87.1-2003 High Impact Standards and ANSI Z80.3 Traffic Signal Recognition Requirements. Its stylish, comfortable design makes it one that workers will want to wear.
DX® Rx Anti-Fog anti-fog technology. For changing environmental conditions that make prescription eyewear fogging a nuisance and a hazard, our new chemical formulation cuts fogging even in severe conditions. This tough, long-lasting bond can be used on all lens materials and can be rejuvenated to maintain performance after water soaking.
Respiratory Protection
The QuickFit™ full face mask that fits great with hard hats. AOSafety® enhances QuickFit—the revolutionary full face mask respirator with the patented Twist and Seal design—with a headgear option for hard hats. Standard QuickFit with the plastic headgear goes on with a twist and comes off with the pull of the silver handle. Now there is a Mesh Headgear option for QuickFit to permit a snug and comfortable fit with hard hats, helmets and other head coverings. Both the standard QuickFit and QuickFit with Mesh Headgear now come in four sizes to fit the widest range of face shapes and sizes.
New Pleats Plus® N95 Respirators boast improved filtering, better protection. The improved Pleats Plus N95 Respirator, with its pleated design for more filtering surface area, has a new filter material that offers very low breathing resistance. In addition to its filtering capabilities, the new filter material, coupled with increased surface area, means great comfort and an easier fit while the pleats allow for more effective communication and easy storage.
Head Protection
