Honeywell (NYSE: HON) announced that it will combineSperian ProtectionwithHoneywell Safety Productsto form one global personal protective equipment company. The combined company will be called Honeywell Safety Productsand will continue to be part of theHoneywell Automation and Control Solutions Life Safetybusiness.
William Hayes, current president of Honeywell Safety Products, has been named President of the new entity.
